Meet Our Pastor
Hello and thank you for stopping by.
My name is Sandy Campbell I was ordained as a Spiritual Minister in 2014. I am the pastor for Love and Light Spiritual Community Partnership.
What is a Spiritual Minister?
A Spiritual Minister is someone who believes in the Spiritualist Principles and the fact that we can commune with our loved ones on the higher side of life. Each Spiritual Minister although ordained to follow the practises of Spiritualism may see God in their own light, possibly not as a man on a throne but as a being of light, a source or an universal energy. An ordained Spiritual Minister is no different from any other religious minister and may confer all of the same duties as those ordained in other faiths.
My personal belief is that we are all connected to that God Source and are all entitled to express that in how we see it, as long as we do no harm to others in that expression. I believe that there is a higher purpose to life, and that we are all one, but are individual too on our earth journey to learn and grow and come to an understanding of self. I also believe that each of us has the ability to tap into heaven and commune with the god source, our loved ones and our own spirit.
As a minister for this organisation I am able to offer Wedding Ceremonies, Naming Services, Christenings, Blessings and Funeral Ceremonies. It is my belief that those who want to hold Ceremonies should be able to access a minister who is willing to take into account the faiths and beliefs of those seeking the service. I hold to this belief in funerals also in that if a person would rather a celebration of their life then that is what the service shall be.
When carrying out a service we only ask for reasonable expenses, and do not make a profit from this. For funerals there is no charge as I believe death is hard enough without the pressure of a hefty ministerial fee, at this time love and compassion is what is needed so to take that stress off this diffuicult time. Should you witsh to make a donation we shall use this to further our aims and objecitives.
If you would like to speak to us regarding one of our services or even just to come in and speak to our minister please contact us via our contact page.
